Ben Pearson

Solicitor, Litigation at Phillips Solicitors

Basingstoke, United Kingdom

About Me

Ben was admitted as a Solicitor in November 2012 and specialises in Civil Litigation. Undertaking his training at Phillips, he also completed seats in Commercial and Employment, Wills & Probate and Family Law. After taking a Masters degree at the University of Edinburgh and gaining a distinction in his law exams at The College of Law, Ben decided to get some commercial experience first. During this time, he worked for a recruitment agency in London for two years, assisting top FTSE 100 companies, banks and government agencies, developing his client relationship skills. As a student, Ben volunteered his time at the National Centre for Domestic Violence and was nominated by The College of Law for his services, winning the prestigious ‘National Pro Bono Hero’ award. As a busy professional, Ben still finds time to support his local community and ran the Basingstoke Half Marathon in 2012 and he was one of the fastest in our winning mixed corporate team. Inspired by this, Ben ran the London Marathon in early 2013 and is training hard again for this year's Basingstoke Half Marathon.
